A training session on Mobile Journalism (MoJo) was conducted relevant to the course unit ‘Contemporary Media Technology’ (CMCH 22043/CMC 22013) which falls under Level II semester II.

The course unit provides an avenue for the students to learn the practical exposure and training on MoJo relevant to create innovative ways to utilize the new media constructively and originate a social media network with alternate ideas.

Accordingly, the training session on MoJo has been arranged on the 31st of July, 1st & 2nd of August 2023 at Arts Seminar Hall, Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna.

Mr. Mohammed Aswer, Mobile Journalism Trainer conducted the workshop containing practical sessions on the usage of the smartphone to shoot documentaries and short films, and the application of learned skills.
