Emeritus Professor Rohana Luxman Piyadasa, a pioneer scholar in the field of Print Media studies from the University of Kelaniya participated in the Sharing Session with the Second Year Media Studies students on ‘Political Cartoons’ on the 3rd of October 2022 at the Media Lab of Media Studies.

Professor Rohana conducted the session with the evidence of cartoons that appeared in national dailies over the last several years and induced the students to deconstruct their meanings of them in the local political arena.

Mr. Madulugiriye Wijerathna, a Popular writer and Translator also took part in the discussions along with Professor Rohana Luxman Piyadasa and moderated the session in Tamil.
