‘Shakthi FM’ from MBC Networks (Pvt.) Ltd. conducted a workshop with the title of ‘Shakthi Vanlai Kalloori’ (Shakthi Radio Club) for the Media Studies students on sharing broadcasting techniques and structural arrangements in broadcasting sector on 22.02.2018. The Channel Head Mr. R.B. Abarnasuthan, Senior Broadcaster Mr.Kanathiban and Senior Technical Consultant Mr. Prajeev are participated as resource persons and shared their experiences and exposure with the students.

The school students who are studying ‘Communication and Media Studies’ at their advanced level at two schools from Vavuniya and Killinochci also benefitted by this workshop while they visited Media Studies as part of their exposure trip to Jaffna based media outlets.
