Media Studies students from the second and third years along with youths from the local community : Anaikoddai, Maniyamthoddam and Columbuththurai participated in a three days residential training on ‘Enhancing Leadership and Short Film Making for Conflict Sensitive Communication’ conducted by HUDEC – Caritas, Jaffna.

The training was organized at the Retreat Center in Pandaitharippu, Jaffna under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Saverian Eugene Francis, Director, HUDEC – Caritas Jaffna.

Mr. Joseph Bala conducted a group activity on ‘Leadership and Youth’. Dr.S.Sivadas, Psychiatrist, Teaching Hospital, Jaffna shared the session on ‘Youths and Personality Development and the Role of Youths in the Formation of Healthy Society’. The workshop on ‘Short film making’ was carried out by Filmmaker Mr. Mathi Sutha.
