The Sri Lanka Press Institute with the collaboration of Sri Lanka Press Complaints Commission conducted a webinar on ‘Emergency Regulation and Media Freedom’ on 23rd of September 2021.

Dr. S. Raguram, Head, Department of Media Studies, Mr. Javid Yusuf, Attorney at Law and the Former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Mr. R. Thayaparan, Senior Journalist and Convener of Jaffna Press Club were participated as resource persons in the above online discussion with the journalists and media students from all over the island.

The event was moderated by Ms. Thanuja Nagarajah, Journalist from Colombo.
