In order to enhance the professional exposure in journalism to the students, the opportunities have been utilized by the Department of Media Studies to send the students to media institutes and relevant outlets to make them familiar with professional media exposure in addition to the academic inputs.

On par with the above, Level III Semester II students visited St. Joseph’s Catholic Press, Jaffna to acquire professional exposure relevant to the course unit of ‘Print Media: Productions and Design (CMCH 32013)’ for two days on the 23^rd and 24^th of August 2023 from 09.00 a.m to 04.00 p.m.

The field exposure cum workshop has been conducted under the theme of ‘Evolution of Printing and Typography’ by Rev.Fr.S.Ainsley Roshan, Manager, St.Joshep’s Catholic Press and Editor, ‘Pathukavalan’, Diocesan Catholic Weekly.
