Department of Media Studies with the collaboration of the Department of Communication, Parliament of Sri Lanka conducted the Culmination Program of the Short Course on ‘Parliamentary Functions and Procedures’ on 15th of February 2024 at the Arts Seminar Hall, Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna.

Mrs. Kushani Rohanadeera, Secretary-General of the Parliament, Prof.S.Raguram, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Asoka Obeyesekere, Country Director- Sri Lanka, National Democratic Institute (NDI) were the guests of the programme and awarded the certificates to the Students.

The Short Course on ‘Parliamentary Functions and Procedures’ which had been conducted by the Department of Communication, Parliament of Sri Lanka at the end of 2022 through face-to-face sessions and virtual mode by the Parliament officers.
