The Peoples’s Action for Free and Fair Elections(PAFFREL) organized a discussion on ‘Election and Media’ for the students of Media Studies and Political Science – University of Jaffna and the civil society and it was held at Raja Hall, Jaffna on 10th of June, 2019.

Dr.S.Raguram, Senior Lecturer in Media Studies, Dr.K.T.Ganeshalingam, Senior Lecturer in Political Science, Mr. Sridaran Sabanayagam, Director of Programmes, PAFFREL and Mr.T.Kanagaraj, Regional Coordinator, Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka were shared the observations on fair and neutral election reporting and role of the media with the students.

The regulations for the media relevant to the elections which are declared by the Election Commission of Sri Lanka also explained and discussed by the resource persons in the event.
