A Popular Actor from the Tamil Nadu Cinema Industry Mr. Black Pandi visited the University of Jaffna and had a discussion with students of Media Studies on 05th September 2023 at Seminar Hall, Faculty of Arts.

Lingeswaran Madurai, known professionally as Pandi has acted in several Tamil films and Television shows. He is known for his role as “Pandi” in the popular Tamil Tele Drama ‘Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’ on Star Vijay Television.

Mr. Black Pandi shared his career experience at the discussion and screened his Short Film on drug awareness ‘Rakam’ which was written, music composed, and directed by him. Further, Black Pandi shared his community activities through his Trust named ‘Udhavum Manitham’.

Dean, Faculty of Arts, Head of the Department, Staff and Students of Media Studies participated in the discussion.
