Dissertations are carried out by the students of Media studies for their partial fulfillment of B.A. Honours Degree programme in Media Studies annually. Ms. Sarumathy Nagaratnam, Student of Media Studies carried out her  dissertation work on the topic of ‘Radio in the Lifestyle of Rural People : A Case Study based on the Mamadhu GN Division in Nedunkerny (கிராமிய மக்களின் வாழ்வியலில் வானொலி: நெடுங்கேணி, மாமடு கிராமசேவகர் பிரிவை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட விடய ஆய்வு) in the year 2023 and submitted to the Department of Media Studies.

The dissertation work carried out by her and output findings of the research work have been video documented in the name of ‘Vaanalai’ (வானலை).
