In order to inspect the progress of the establishment of the incubator space which has been carried out at the Department of Media Studies with the collaboration of HELVETAS and Sri Lanka Development Journalists Forum (SDJF), the European Union Delegation to Sri Lanka and Maldives who is the funding agency visited Media Studies on 24th of March, 2021.

The discussion was held at the Media Lab where the incubator center to be established, with the participation of the Head and staff of Media Studies. 

Ms. Tania Perera (Political and Communication Section), Ms. Anne Vaugier-Chatterjee (Political and Communication Section), Mr. Francesco Damiani (Contract and Finance) and Nicolas Gerard (Cooperation) were attended from EU and Ms. Subhashi Dissanayake, Country Representative, HELVETAS, Ms. Chandula Kumbukage, Project Manager, HELVETAS and Mr. Mohamad Azad, Program Director, SDJF were participated from the implementing agencies.
