The Media Club of the Department of Media Studies facilitated the media coverage of the 4th Undergraduate Research Symposium in Arts 2024 (URSA-2024) organized by the Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna on 22nd of January 2025.
The 4th Undergraduate Research Symposium in Arts 2024 was held under the theme of ‘Emerging Trends and Future Directions in Humanities and Social Sciences’. The Symposium was convened by Mr.S.Niroshan, Senior Lecturer and chaired by Prof.S.Raguram, Dean, Faculty of Arts. Prof.S.Srisatkunarajah, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jaffna presented as Chief Guest and the Keynote Speech was delivered by Mr.Balakirishnan Sivatheepan Senior Assistant Director of Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The URSA-2024 was organized as an inaugural session and technical session and the Media Club, the Students’ Society of the Department of Media Studies served as one of the partners of the Symposium and covered all events.
