Media Club Covered 5th Undergraduate Research Symposium in Arts 2025 (URSA-2025)

The Media Club of the Department of Media Studies, University of Jaffna, successfully facilitated the media coverage of the 5th Undergraduate Research Symposium in Arts 2025 (URSA–2025) organized by the Faculty of Arts on the 8th of October 2025.

The symposium was held under the theme “Knowledge in Action: Bridging Disciplines to Empower Change.” It was convened by Mrs. C. A. Hensman, Senior Lecturer, and chaired by Prof. S. Raguram, Dean, Faculty of Arts. Prof. S. Srisatkunarajah, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jaffna, graced the event as the Chief Guest, while the Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. A. S. Chandrabose, Retired Professor of Social Sciences, Open University of Sri Lanka.

The URSA–2025 comprised an inaugural session followed by sixteen technical sessions, featuring undergraduate research presentations across diverse disciplines. The Media Club, the Students’ Society of the Department of Media Studies, covered all the sessions and proceedings of the event through photos and video.
