The new officer bearers for the ‘Media Club’, the Students’ Society of the Department of Media Studies for the year 2026 were elected on 10.02.2026. The selection was conducted as per the constitution of the ‘Media Club’ which was approved by the Council of the University of Jaffna.
The Annual General Meeting of the club was held on 10.02.2026 at the Seminar Hall, Faculty of Arts. As per the agenda of the meeting proceeding selection of new officer bearers of the ‘Media Club’ for the year 2026 was conducted under the supervision of Ms.S.Poongulaly, Head, Department of Media Studies and the Patron of the Club.
Ms.G.Anutharsi, Senior Lecturer Grade II of the Department of Media Studies was nominated as the Senior Treasurer of the Students’ Society and the following new office bearers were elected unanimously by the student members.
Prof.S.Raguram invited in the meeting and delivered a special address to the Media Club. Staff members of the Department and Students in All four levels attend the Annual General Meeting of the Club.
