Media Studies Students Participated in the ‘Workshop on Photo Journalism for Female Undergraduates’ Organized by the Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI)

The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) in collaboration with the International Centre for Journalists (ICFJ), conducted a workshop on ‘Photo Journalism for Female Undergraduates’. Ms. Jessica Rinaldi, the Pulitzer Prize-winning Photojournalist served as a resource person for the workshop. The workshop was held on Thursday, 8th of August 2024 at the Hilton Colombo, Colombo 02.

The following students of the Department of Media Studies represented the University of Jaffna at the workshop.

This workshop is exclusively designed for women who are interested in photography and it’s relevant to the course unit, ‘Photo Journalism’ (CMCH 22013)’ of the Curriculum of the B.A. (Honours) in Media Studies.
