Media Studies students and staff participated in 20th Anniversary of Colombo Declaration on Media Freedom and Social Responsibility in Colombo. The three days anniversary events and the International Conference conducted by Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI), Press Complaints Commission of Sri Lanka (PCCSL) and Sri Lanka College of Journalism from 27th to 29th of September 2018.

Mr. A. Nixon further explained the constitutional background of the formation and development of Sri Lankan parliament system, Standing order for Members of Parliament, Parliament Administration, Parliament businesses, Reporting Speeches of Members of Parliament, Hansard, Point of Orders and Parliament privileges to the students.
