The third and fourth year media studies students along with media professionals participated in two days training on ‘Election Reporting’ organized by ‘Internews Sri Lanka’ at Jaffna on 7th and 8th of March 2020, ahead of Parliamentary Elections 2020.

Mr. M.M. Mohamed, Former Election Commissioner delivered the lecture on ‘The Role of Media in Elections’, Mr. A. Nixon, Senior Journalist shared his experiences on ‘Ethical Responsibilities of Media During the Elections’ and, Mr. Arun Arokianathan, Senior Journalist talked on ‘Identifying Fake News at Election Period’ at the training sessions.
