Mr.G.Michal Bavan, Student of Media Studies awarded a scholarship including financial assistance in the remembrance of ‘Late. Ashwin, Cartoonist’ by the Jaffna Press Club on 23rd of September 2023 at Jaffna Press Club.

The scholarship is awarded annually to the selected student from Level II who satisfies the following requirements.

• Merit pass in Level I in B.A. Degree programme
• Student who followed B.A. (Honours) in Media Studies
• Nominated as economically need assistance by the Department

It’s noted that the above scholarship to the students of Media studies is given this time for 2nd consecutive year.
