The ‘Green Arts Collective’ proposes and initiates the Green Faculty of Arts as a part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the University of Jaffna in the Year 2024.
Greenery’s strategic role is to make the world more feasible. In addition to removing dangerous gases and airborne pollutants, they also cool the air, provide oxygen, and maintain moisture in the atmosphere. Through all these, it will increase energy levels, the positive mood of the people, improve their concentration, and reduce their stress levels. It also marks the visual and cultural heritage of the University of Jaffna. Finally, its hope to leads to reserving the land’s natural heritage is to help the community find its identity.
