A training session on Mobile Journalism (MoJo) for the Academic Year 2021/2022 was conducted relevant to the course unit ‘Contemporary Media Technology’ (CMCH 22043/CMC 22013) which falls under Level II semester II.

The course unit provides an avenue for the students to learn the practical exposure and training on MoJo relevant to creating innovative ways to utilize the new media constructively and originate a social media network with alternate ideas.

Accordingly, the training session on MoJo has been arranged on the 26th, 27th & 28th of September 2024 in the Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna.

Mr. Mohammed Aswer, Mobile Journalism Trainer conducted the workshop containing practical sessions on the usage of the smartphone to shoot documentaries and short films, and the application of learned skills.
