The Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna conducted the 4th Undergraduate Symposium in Arts (URSA) on 22nd of January 2025. The Undergraduate symposium provides a platform for the students to disseminate their research findings to a wider audience.
The URSA was held under the sphere of the Jaffna University International Research Conference (JUICe) and the theme for the year 2024 was “Emerging Trends and Future Directions in Humanities and Social Sciences”.
The Symposium was convened by Mr.S.Niroshan, Senior Lecturer and chaired by Prof.S.Raguram, Dean, Faculty of Arts. Prof.S.Srisatkunarajah, Vice-Chancellor of University of Jaffna presented as Chief Guest and the Keynote Speech was delivered by Mr.Balakirishnan Sivatheepan Senior Assistant Director of Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
