Mr. T. Prabakaran and Mr. Perinpanayakam, the senior journalists of ‘Uthayan’ Newspaper Group, the largest circulated newspaper in Jaffna region conducted a sharing session with Media Studies students and staff and invited the students of Media Studies to enter into the professional journalism field while they are doing their undergraduate programme.

The session was held on 13th of December at the Media Lab of Media Studies. The enthusiastic speech given by Mr. T. Prabakaran, the Editor in Chief of ‘Uthayan Weekly’ regard to the need of young journalists to refresh the regional journalism and he advised the students to get practical professional exposure while they involve in studies.
