Second year Media Studies students who are following ‘Printing Techniques’ as one of their core course at the second semester studies visited ‘Yarl Thinakkural’ Tamil daily paper on 25th of September 2020 in order to gather first hand experiences in web based offset printing.

The study visit was guided by the Course Lecturer Ms. L. Anutharsi with the assistance of Ms. M. Dhulaparani, Temporary Assistant Lecturer and Ms. P. Sivatharsiny, Temporary Demonstrator.

The students learnt the printing process from the initial point of page designing, printing in transparent sheets, plate making and final printing in web newsprints.
